DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Adults and teens ages 13 and up are invited to attend a Streetwise Self Defense class taught by Captain Craig Stansbury of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office to get a better understanding and knowledge of what self defense actually means. This two-hour class will teach the dos and don’ts when it comes to defending yourself against an attacker, along with how to avoid putting yourself in dangerous situations. Students will have the opportunity to walk through the presented techniques or simply observe. This class will be hosted at the South Regional Library on Wednesday, December 5 from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
